Praise be to God for His glorious blessings over the Gathering United Prayer service last evening!  We had an awesome pre-service prayer meeting, and an incredible time of worship and prayer in the united gathering service.  Thank-you to all of you intercessors who have faithfully been fasting and praying for this move of God.  Can't you just feel His pleasure?!  To God be all praise and glory!

We will continue meeting for united prayer monthly.  The next prayer meeting is May 14 at The Bridge Street House of Prayer, at 1:30 pm.

See you there for a time of praise to our Almighty God!

Prayer Letter - April 5, 2010

To the prayer intercessors for The Gathering:

Time is drawing near for the West MI region to gather together in one place and pray.

Our Father God is smiling upon us, for this is His idea. He is happy that His children are cooperating, listening to Him, and working and praying together. He says, “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit…” Eph 4:3-4. And the Lord Jesus prays for us, “May all of them be one Father, just as You are in me and I am in You. May the region of West MI also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. I have given them the glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one: I in them and You in Me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me”. Let me say that again, may we (the body of Christ), be one as The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one; Jesus in us (through the Holy Spirit) and The Father in Jesus. Amazing!

As we draw near to the time of the First Gathering of Jesus’ bride in the Grand Rapids area all together as one, please fast and pray for this event and this move of God.

v First spend time praising and honoring God The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit for making this happen.

v Praise God for all of the finances already sent in, and for all of the many churches and organizations who are committing to participate in this.

v Direct and guide the worship team as they come together from many churches, as they select music, practice, and prepare their hearts to be used as servants in this way.

v Ask the Father to pour out the rest of the finances needed. The Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of people to give.

v That all churches will be given notice of this event. That none will be absent because they did not hear of it.

v For the word to be proclaimed in all areas of media: radio, tv, newspaper, church bulletins, posters, facebook, twitter, word of mouth, etc…. Pray for the media to spread the truth and not to skew reports in any way.

v Spiritual protection over The DeVos Place, The leadership team, the worship team, the prayer team, the persons who will participate in the service, the pastors….

v For a stirring in the hearts of God’s people to gather and pray even as they hear about it for the first time.

v That God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will be glorified in us and amongst us. (They are not only smiling, they are cheering us on!)

v Saturday the 17th, 9 am, join with the United Prayer Coalition Prayer breakfast 9am – 12 pm at First Christian Reformed Church, 650 Bates St SE. Prayer for The Gathering is on the agenda.

v Friday, April 23, 1:30-2:30, at Life International, 72 Ransom Ave. NE.

v Sunday, April 25, pre-service prayer time 4:30 pm.
